2016 Hyundai Elantra GT Stands Tall Amongst Crowded Competition

The statistics show that Canadians love small hatchbacks, and why not? They combine the utility of a small car with the convenience of a large fifth door for storage. With sporty hatchbacks making a strong comeback in recent years, Hyundai was determined to meet the mark with its newest Elantra GT.

The Elantra series has a history of great success, and the 2016 Elantra is positioned to bolster it even further. This fresh vehicle is proportioned nicely for a dynamic look that does not sacrifice practicality. Lines flow well to create an aggressive look, and new LED headlamps are a nice touch. A handful of new exterior details are also present.

Hyundai has focused on premium technology and high-end features to make the 2016 Elantra GT pop. The brand new 7” ‘infotainment’ system provides access to all modern media pleasantries along with a built-in navigation system. Compared to last year’s model, this system is more responsive, easier to use and more visually appealing.

Hop inside and you’ll find a surprisingly large interior. Passengers in the rear will be delighted to find an abundance of leg and head space. If you’ve got a big load to carry, the Elantra GT is overflowing with flexible cargo space to accommodate. You’ll also find heated leather front and rear seats, proximity key entry, and a giant panoramic sunroof.
